The Government of Seychelles, under the Department of Information Communications Technology introduced the student’s laptop scheme to assist designated student groups in financing the purchase a laptop computer to support them in their studies. This scheme provides a three thousand rupees contribution (SR 3,000.00) towards the purchase price of a laptop of the students’ choice. The scheme excludes the purchase smart phones and desktop computers.

How to apply:

• You can download the application form for the Student’s Laptop Scheme here or you can also download it from the Department of Information Communications Technology’s website.
• After filling in the form with the required details, it should be taken to the student’s educational institution to be endorsed with the institution’s a stamp.
• Visit one of our outlets and choose your laptop.
• Pay the difference on the balance of the laptop price excluding the, contribution. (E.g.: If you choose a laptop which the selling price of SCR5,000.00, you will need to pay SCR2,000)
• You will be given your documents which include a receipt for your payment and a proforma invoice for the full price of the laptop which you will need to submit to the Department of Information Communications Technology for processing.
• Once the department approves the payment of the contribution towards your chosen laptop, you will be contacted to pickup the laptop from our outlet
